In four thematic panels, the workshop invites to explore upheavals, crises and resistance in Turkey's past and present.

The workshop consists of four panels on the topics of culture, flight and migration, urbanism and academic freedom and education. Its aim is to foster exchange between young researchers of various academic backgrounds focusing on Turkey's past and present.

The workshop is organized in cooperation with the program "BLICKWECHSEL – STUDIEN ZUR ZEITGENÖSSISCHEN TÜRKEI", funded by Stiftung Mercator.
