Fish Bowl: "Youth Participation in and in between Germany and Turkey: Spaces to explore, encounter and shape"
Fish Bowl |September 16, 2019 |Berlin
On the occasion of the 5-year anniversary of the German-Turkish Youth Bridge, the fish bowl discussion "Youth Participation in and in between Germany and Turkey: Spaces to explore, encounter and shape" focussed on life realities and everyday practices of young people from both countries. Scholars from Germany and Turkey used their research on spatial practices of young people as a starting point to discuss questions surrounding opportunities for youth participation, practices and tools used by young people as well as the roles of educational institutions and youth mobility and exchange in Germany and Turkey.
The event has been realised as a joint event of the programme Blickwechsel: Contemporary Turkey Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, the German-Turkish Youth Bridge and the Istanbul Policy Center.
